About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and dispatch personnel to reported incidents, service calls, and priority situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document incidents, activities, and communications in dispatch logs and reports, helping to support accurate recordkeeping and timely follow-up.
• Coordinate access-related requests, visitor activity, deliveries, and after-hours communications in accordance with location policies and technology-focused workplace procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while supporting dispatch operations in a dynamic location environment.
