About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Officer in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, and support access and communication needs across the site. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or electronic systems to receive calls for assistance, document activity, and relay information to the appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate routine and urgent communications between officers, site contacts, and/or first responders, helping to support timely responses to incidents and critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, access-related records, and other required documentation while following post orders and client-directed guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while observing and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues.
