About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch / Driver in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related and/or service incidents, document activity, and help maintain smooth daily operations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Monitor radios, telephones, alarms, cameras, and other dispatch systems to receive calls for service, relay information, and support timely communication between field personnel, supervisors, and/or public agency contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and helping to coordinate the appropriate security-related response.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, dispatch records, and incident reports, noting call times, unit status, unusual activity, and actions taken in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol support functions through remote monitoring of assigned areas, transportation facilities, and perimeter locations, helping to identify concerns and direct personnel as needed.
