About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver Support in Newark, Delaware, you will safeguard clients at a financial institution by coordinating security-related communications, monitoring activity, documenting incidents, and supporting timely responses to service needs. You will help maintain an organized environment through clear communication, customer service, and collaboration with on-site teams. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The position is full time and pays $20.00 per hour. The stated schedule is 2:00 PM–10:00 PM on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and applicable emergency response activities.
Monitor security systems, alarms, cameras, communication channels, and dispatch queues; receive calls and coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations.
Dispatch officers and appropriate responders to assigned locations, maintain clear radio and telephone communications, and provide timely updates to site leadership and responding personnel.
Document incidents, dispatch activity, alarm notifications, visitor concerns, and other security-related events according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalate matters to appropriate personnel, and support follow-up actions.
