Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Monitor radio, phone, and/or computer-based communications systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations by gathering details, prioritizing calls, and coordinating security-related response with site contacts, field personnel, and/or public agency partners.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and other required reports while following post orders, communication standards, and government location procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns.
