Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk of a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet incoming guests, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to control access in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, receive deliveries, maintain visitor and incident logs, and complete required reports with attention to detail.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by observing for unusual activity, communicating clearly with staff and visitors, and following post orders and healthcare location guidelines.
