As a Security Officer Screening in Wichita Falls, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry activity, perform screening procedures, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and staff by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, personal property, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required communication and documentation processes.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access, prohibited items, and/or policy violations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, screening stations, and perimeter locations as directed, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
