About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting in Mountain View, California. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and helping create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The officer provides customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs and emergencies. The position pays $25.50 per hour. The listed schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, following site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, facility hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
