About The Position

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior and exterior areas, including entrances, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized access.
Report observed hazards, suspicious activity, damaged access points, and other security-related concerns to site leadership in accordance with established procedures.
