About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Issuance in Lumberton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior and exterior areas, including entrances, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized access.
  • Report observed hazards, suspicious activity, damaged access points, and other security-related concerns to site leadership in accordance with established procedures.
