About The Position

As a Security Officer - Credential Control in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support alarm response as needed. In this people-first role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service, clear communication, and dependable support through teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations for employees, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site-specific protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report relevant details to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Document daily activities, visitor interactions, and/or unusual incidents in required logs and reports.
