About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Credential Control in Earth City, Missouri, for an assigned logistics and distribution site. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow hours to vary from part-time to as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed schedule is Monday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, and the pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while controlling site access, checking credentials and authorizations, maintaining access-related records, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Applicants are subject to background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• Access-control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery or driver access according to site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-related logs and reports, including visitor, contractor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; escalate to appropriate site contacts or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
