About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Management in Chattanooga, Tennessee, you will safeguard clients at a financial institution by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service and clear communication. You will help maintain a welcoming environment, document security-related activities, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. The position is full time and pays $16.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and activity to help deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, business spaces, and the perimeter; document observations and complete required reports.
