About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Control in Montgomery, Alabama, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence and clear communication will help support a welcoming environment and deter security-related incidents. This is a full-time position paying $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry to support controlled access throughout the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Maintain awareness of activity at assigned entrances, exits, and restricted areas; report unusual conditions and policy violations according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, as applicable.
