Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Greet employees, patients, visitors, and vendors, verify identification and appointments, and direct individuals to the appropriate department in a professional manner.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, document arrivals and departures, issue visitor credentials when required, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting the appropriate personnel for medical, facility, and/or security-related support.
  • Answer phones, manage front desk logs and reports, and support daily administrative tasks related to access control, visitor management, and site communication.
