About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Concierge in Hanahan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Professional in a dynamic technology location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access control, support badge-related processes, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal standards for access control, visitor processing, and security-related support.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, issue badges as appropriate, and help to deter unauthorized access in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and/or unusual activity at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and/or incident documentation, while helping to support daily operations at a dynamic technology-focused location.
  • Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general assistance, and help to support security-related procedures for deliveries, guest arrivals, and/or employee access requests.
