As a Security Officer Front Desk Concierge in Voorhees, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location, you will remain a visible presence at the entrance, help manage access activities, greet visitors, and support security-related operations through strong communication and professionalism. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting employees and visitors, and supporting security-related protocols for a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, manage visitor check-in and access documentation, and help to confirm that guests are directed according to site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues through the proper communication channels.
  • Support badge and credential review, track deliveries and visitor arrivals, and help to maintain an orderly front desk presence aligned with Allied Universal standards and client site expectations.
