About The Position

As a Security Officer Concierge Desk Associate in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor activity from a professional front desk post, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a professional office location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor credentials, issue access badges, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and relay important information during shift changes and/or to site leadership as needed.
