About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Communications Dispatcher in Lancaster, Texas, you will support a technology, media, and telecommunications location by coordinating communications, documenting incidents, monitoring activity, and dispatching personnel as needed. You will provide customer service while helping maintain a secure environment and supporting timely responses to security-related needs. The role includes daytime weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The hourly pay rate is $20.00. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and on-site personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other dispatch communications for a technology infrastructure location.
Accurately document incidents, service requests, visitor activity, and critical events, and communicate relevant details to on-site personnel and emergency responders.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, dispatching appropriate resources according to established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues.
