About The Position

As a Security Officer Building Patrol in Warren, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This unarmed patrol role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. You will communicate professionally and support a welcoming workplace environment while following site-specific policies and security procedures. The position is part-time, scheduled Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations and required information to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the building perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate security logs and incident reports.
Provide directions, assist with routine inquiries, and report maintenance, access, or security-related concerns.
