Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Baton certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by greeting employees, patients, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific procedures for entry screening and access support at a healthcare location.
Screen individuals entering the location by reviewing required credentials, asking screening questions, and/or directing them according to current site protocols.
Respond to incidents, elevated concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring entrances, observing activity in assigned areas, and documenting unusual activity, policy violations, and/or visitor concerns.
