Requirements

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and/or vendors at designated entry points by following access procedures and documenting required information.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and/or other assigned areas to help support security-related procedures, manage visitor flow, and report unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations as needed, noting conditions and communicating concerns according to post instructions.
