About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen people, packages, and/or belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through proper channels.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations to help support controlled entry and exit activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
