As a Security Officer Screening Agent in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Our Screeners at a leading tech location help monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while putting people first in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering and exiting the location in accordance with post orders and security-related policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Monitor entry points, identification badges, visitor logs, and/or screening equipment to help support authorized access and compliance with location requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of conditions that may require security-related attention or follow-up.
