Requirements

Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and guard card is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a residential location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through the proper chain of command.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, including residential streets, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic, verifying access permissions as directed and addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards, post orders, and applicable laws while supporting a professional presence throughout the location.
