About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Armed Patrol to support a healthcare location in Cabot, Arkansas. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility through armed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and professional customer service. The role is scheduled overnight from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Pay is $17.79 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures while maintaining a professional presence in patient care areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
