Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report access concerns, suspicious activity, or policy violations through established site protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership with incident reporting, post order adherence, and readiness for changing conditions within a highly regulated aerospace and defense environment.
