Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and vehicle activity in accordance with site rules, helping to support authorized entry and orderly operations.
Support incident response by investigating disturbances, preparing clear reports, and following post orders related to equipment, materials, and after-hours activity.
