Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorized access, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and assisting with security-related checks involving gates, doors, fencing, and restricted areas.
