As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Brownsville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and a Level III Armed Certification. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas, parking lots, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential hazards, and policy violations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with access control, receipt and merchandise protection activities, and coordination with local law enforcement or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
