About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Butlerville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to government property, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification protocols.
Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
