As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Carthage, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. This driving role requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and integrity-driven support while working with an agile, reliable, innovative, and caring Allied Universal team.

Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity.
  • Maintain accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and required equipment inspections in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
