About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Enhanced Security Officer at an assigned food and beverage production location in Bennettsville, South Carolina. The position offers a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours may vary from part-time to as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

The officer provides security and customer service by following site procedures and policies, responding to incidents and alarms, conducting armed patrols, monitoring facility access, and maintaining reports and logs. The role requires participation in industry-specific security training. Applicants must be at least 21 for armed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Background and drug screening apply as permitted by law; licensing may be required under applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site requirements.
• Maintain required reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
