As a Security Officer Armed Access Specialist in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Access Control Officer at a premier residential community location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify access, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out access control and other security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
