Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location, dock areas, and restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Support screening of visitors, vendors, and incoming traffic, maintain required logs and records, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding access activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to shipping, receiving, warehouse, and parking areas where conditions may vary by site.
