About The Position

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Status Monitor in Atlanta, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and the public. You will respond to security-related concerns, conduct routine checks, and provide customer service and communication. The position is full time and pays $21.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, conduct routine checks, and respond to security-related concerns.
