About The Position

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Event Response in Atlanta, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through customer service and communication. The role uses experience with access control, badge systems, alarm panels, and computer or tablet tools to address security-related needs. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Thursday, 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; work environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
