About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Dalton, Georgia, serving a logistics and distribution location. The unarmed officer conducts routine patrols, monitors access points and alarm systems, helps deter security-related incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and professional incident response. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $15.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel according to site requirements.
- Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in required reports.
