Security Officer Patrol Alarm Panel Operations
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in San Jose, California. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, contractors, and property by conducting patrols, monitoring access points and alarm activity, and maintaining a visible, professional presence. The role also involves providing customer service, supporting access control, documenting activity and incidents, and responding to security concerns and emergencies according to site procedures. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.50 per hour. Candidates must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing may be required before employment.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or property conditions, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate contacts.
- Assist with access control and provide directions or support to occupants and visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
