About The Position

As an Airport Security Officer - CCTV in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. In the CCTV unit, you will not only be monitoring CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property. This position also includes being dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• Security Experience: 1+ years
• CCTV/Dispatch Experience: 1+ years
• Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast pace environment
• Must be able to pass a psychological evaluation
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property.
• Be dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.
• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or potential policy violations, helping to deter disruptions and supporting orderly operations.
• Assist with access control, directional support, and public interaction while following post orders and reporting maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns.
