About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Management in Santa Teresa, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The role is full-time and pays $14.09 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and entry systems; verify credentials and authorization before permitting access to the distribution location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
