As a Security Officer Access Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges, support visitor processing, and perform routine patrols. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service, clear communication, and a people-first approach grounded in teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, process visitors and deliveries, and document access activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or unusual activity through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify access issues, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns.
• Support badge and key control processes, assist with directions and general assistance requests, and complete clear, accurate reports related to daily operations and/or incidents.
