About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Enoree, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication while helping to address security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Support front entrance and lobby operations by assisting with sign-in processes, answering routine questions, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
