About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Doylestown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor entrances, check identification and/or credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions and client expectations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the lobby, access points, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Communicate with staff, guests, and/or contractors regarding entry requirements, package handling procedures, and other security-related protocols while maintaining a professional presence.
