Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and communicate with residents, guests, and/or management regarding security-related matters.
  • Support the overall residential location by observing for maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, then reporting findings to Allied Universal leadership and/or property contacts.
