Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other access activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or other security-related issues.
• Assist with screening deliveries, vendor access, and restricted area entry while following post orders and reporting policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior.
