Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials, monitoring visitor and vendor activity, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, drivers, and site contacts regarding access procedures, restricted areas, and/or security-related expectations.
