About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist at a residential community in Riviera Beach, Florida, you will help manage entry points, greet residents and visitors, verify credentials, and maintain accurate access records. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing customer service and clear communication. The role serves and safeguards clients in residential and other settings as part of Allied Universal’s security team.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A guard card or license is required.
Applicants for unarmed roles must be at least 18 years of age; applicants for armed roles must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, vendors, and service personnel in accordance with community procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle access records and communicate relevant information to residential community staff as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of community access areas, common areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
