About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Boynton Beach, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients in a residential community. You will manage entry points, verify visitor and resident access, maintain a professional and welcoming presence, use technology to document activity, communicate with residents and guests, and help deter security-related incidents. The role is full-time and pays $17.00 per hour. The schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• A guard card or license.
• Customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, document entries and departures, and follow established visitor-management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
