Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, and supporting security-related protocols at entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
• Monitor employee, visitor, and vendor entry and exit activity, maintain accurate access records, and report unusual, unauthorized, and/or suspicious activity in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with emergency response activities according to location procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that may need attention.
• Communicate with store personnel, management, and visitors regarding access procedures, delivery arrivals, and other security-related matters while helping to support an orderly environment.
