About The Position

We are seeking a professional Concierge Security Officer to serve as the first point of contact in our corporate headquarters lobby. This individual will combine the warmth and professionalism of a concierge with the vigilance and judgment of a security professional. The ideal candidate will be approachable, engaging, and polished in demeanor, while maintaining a discreet but effective security presence. This position is focused on creating a welcoming environment for employees and guests while ensuring access control, surveillance monitoring, and response coordination in the event of a security incident.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years in hospitality, corporate concierge, customer service, or security roles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage warmly with executives, staff, and guests.
  • Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proven ability to de-escalate conflict and manage challenging interactions professionally.
  • Tech-savvy with basic proficiency in security systems (CCTV, access control software, visitor management systems).
  • Professional appearance in business/neutral attire (plainclothes, not a uniform).
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and tactful with sensitive information.
  • Highly dependable with strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  • High school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in corporate security or protective services preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Training in de-escalation, conflict resolution, or security operations a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet visitors with professionalism, warmth, and courtesy.
  • Provide clear directions, visitor assistance, and act as a helpful resource for employees and guests.
  • Ensure all guests follow established access procedures (badges, visitor logs, sign-ins, and escorts).
  • Manage and monitor entry into the main lobby, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
  • Control driveway gate access for visitors
  • Discreetly observe visitor behavior for potential risks while maintaining a non-intimidating presence.
  • Escalate concerns or unauthorized access attempts appropriately and promptly.
  • Monitor designated security cameras and lobby activity in real-time.
  • Identify and respond to unusual or suspicious activities.
  • Act as the first line of defense in potential security events.
  • Respond quickly and calmly to disruptive behavior or security concerns.
  • Employ de-escalation techniques to resolve situations professionally.
  • Contact law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or internal corporate leadership as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitors, incidents, and security-related activities.
  • Support internal security and facilities teams with periodic safety checks.
  • Assist with implementation of lobby and access-related security procedures.
